learned a new word in spanish today

Tuit.

I sounded it out, and OMG, it's "tweet" for Twitter. That's cute! Is that a real word? Google translator already has it. Hmmm! Not sure.

Google examples:

tuit and tweet.

I got it from a post on Facebook. A Mexican department store is having a contest in which you have to answer on Twitter:

"¿Ya tienes las 5 preguntas correctas? Apresúrense a mencionar en un tuit a @solosanborns con el HT #GanaConSanborns"

I don't know the answers to the contest, so I'm not going to TUIT (tweet) on Twitter.
